Harmoniq is built on the idea of harmony —

The name draws from harmony, reflecting a sense of alignment and coexistence.
The “iq” carries a deeper meaning, inspired by the Eastern concept of Qi
— the vital energy that flows through all things and sustains balance within.
Since the time of the renowned physician Zhang Zhongjing,
the philosophy of well-being in Eastern traditions has centered on one principle:
when energy flows in harmony, the body and mind follow.
At Harmoniq, we see fragrance not simply as scent,
but as a quiet expression of balance, rhythm, and inner alignment.
The name He Shun Xiang (和顺香) reflects this philosophy —
gentle, flowing, and naturally attuned.

Our Origin
In traditional herbal culture, scent has never been just fragrance —
it has always been a way to restore balance.
Inspired by early practices attributed to Zhang Zhongjing,
natural botanicals such as agarwood, angelica root,
and mugwort were blended not only for their aroma,
but for their ability to calm the mind and support the body’s internal balance.
Over time, these practices evolved.
By the Tang dynasty, herbal incense became more refined —
integrating seasonal cycles, spatial awareness,
and the philosophy of balance rooted in classical Eastern thought.
What was once practiced among scholars and in court life
gradually became part of everyday living.
